When it comes to cooking, I am not smart...

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a nice weekend. See any good movies? I saw Drag Me to Hell. I thought it was great! Well maybe not great but it was definitely entertaining :) Tonight Seth decided to make burgers for dinner. I helped by cutting up the vegetables. We were also going to have bacon on the burgers. So, after cutting all of the vegetables, I felt I could handle cooking the bacon. No problem, right? It's just bacon. I thought I could handle it, boy was I wrong! When I tried to pour the bacon grease into a can, I started a tiny fire (seriously, it was the tiniest fire), burned my finger, and cried. I forgot that when you pour hot grease into a can, the can gets really hot and you should not try to grab it. Not smart. That was my adventure for the day. Now, I'm taking an indefinite amount of time off from cooking. Seth doesn't need my help, I just make things worse. I should just stick to cutting the vegetables. Lesson learned. -NM
