Bloggers! Sometimes I am just not very smart. I've been planning on going to see the latest Harry Potter movie for months and months at the very first midnight showing. I don't know where I got my information, maybe I made it up, but I was under the impression that that would be Wednesday at midnight and then the opening day is on Thursday. I ask you this bloggers: WHAT MOVIE OPENS ON THURSDAY?! Geez! That should've been a red flag to begin with.
And then I also always get confused with midnight in general. I prefer to not do anything at midnight just to avoid the confusion. Does Wednesday at midnight mean Tuesday night into Wednesday morning or Wednesday night into Thursday morning? See I told you, not too smart. So now I've realized the midnight showing will be Tuesday night and opening day is Wednesday. I made sure to ask for Thursday through Saturday off thinking I would be enjoying HP Wednesday night without the worry of returning to work in the morning. Now I'm seeing it Tuesday night in Santa Rosa and coming back to Berkeley Wednesday morning to go to work and then having my three days off for absolutely no reason. Mark my words, those three days will NOT be wasted. I'll go see HP once a day if I have to, just to make myself feel better about the pointless time off.
I'm really trying to convince myself that Tuesday night will be an adventure and to make the most out of my mistake. Stay tuned bloggers. I'll let you know how HP is. You should probably just go see it yourselves though, because I'm sure it will be awesome. -NM
