Steena's New Place

Steena here - so, there have been some big changes for me over the last couple of weeks!!  I got a new place! Bub's friend Greta and I got an apartment in Studio City, CA.  It is great and we are having so much fun!!  We have great neighbors who have decorated very intensely for the Halloween holiday.  Almost daily I am scared half to death.  The place is great - more pictures to come soon!! (And I am sure more stories as I continue to settle in).  OH WAIT!!!  There is a story - so, Greta and I have been trying to be "grown-ups" and have a nice "grown-up" apartment.  We have been very successful, as we have nice furniture lots of nice glassware (from my marriage - that's a BubSteena story for another day), and Greta found a great fancy couch on craigslist for a steal.  So, with out common areas looking real nice, our "grown-up" plan hasn't really reached the bedrooms yet; Greta is sleeping on a child's sized twin mattress and I am on a blow up mattress!!!  The first night that I slept on this thing it was fine, it deflated a bit but I was not on the floor, just kind of stuck in the middle and had to roll myself off, the second night Stephanie (#1 Fan) slept over and we woke up completely touching (our sides), I didn't realize how close we were until I looked over and saw her face right next to mine and got startled, it was hilarious.  So, then the night before last I woke up on the floor and my back hurt all day!!  I think it is funny, but won't for too much longer, I'm too old for this air mattress crap, especially when I have a Sleep Number bed in Nor Cal.  So - Greta had mentioned that maybe I could get a moving company to just move my bed when they have space and time.  I called my cousin Aldena to see if they have a moving company with their trade and barter business.  They do.  It is my ex-boyfriend's family's company.  So it turns out that next Friday Oct 29th I will be receiving my bed from my ex and his family.  We will see how that goes, but should be a pretty funny experience.  Who knows.  I will keep you updated.
